ARCHITECTURE ET AGRICULTURE

Biaudos is a rural town with almost 900 inhabitants. The village easily accessible by the RD 817 deserves a stop, especially for its newly restored Gothic church, the town hall so typical, and the houses built in Bidache stone. For the rest, Biaudos is a beautiful hilly countryside made of thick forests, breeding farms, hillsides that hide magnificent original houses or castles like that of Bastarrèche of Renaissance style, and which served as the backdrop for the film «Hotel of the Americas» (Catherine Deneuve and Patrick Dewaere).

Biaudos is therefore a small town as peaceful as its inhabitants, as greedy as its producers and as discreet as its hunters of palombes, or mushrooms… It takes less than a quarter of an hour to reach the beaches of Seignanx, Bayonne or Peyrehorade.
